In spring and summer, come and take a boat trip around the Chalet des Îles

Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, come and sail on the lower lake of the Bois de Boulogne. This exceptional eleven-hectare body of water is home to carp, gudgeon, perch and pike. It is also an opportunity to observe the birds that have found refuge on the island, finches, chickadees, ducks and moorhens.

The Chalet des Îles is on your way, take the opportunity to stop for a meal, it is the only place where you can dock.

Since the Second Empire, people have enjoyed it as much as ever. Reserved under Napoleon III for the social elite, boating in the Bois de Boulogne is now the prerogative of walkers.
